It's an exciting time for teens when they first get their provisional driving licence. The responsibility and independence of being on the road can open up a whole new world of opportunity as well as learning an essential life skill. However, the roads can be dangerous or even deadly and with increased independence should come an increased understanding of what to do in an emergency. This is something that is often missed by new and learner drivers who get into their car without thinking about when they last did a first aid class or if they have ever done one before suitable for their age and increased independence.

First aid isn't just important, it can literally be life saving.

We would encourage all teens learning to drive or who have recently passed their test to complete a Mini First Aid East Sussex, Brighton & Hove first aid for teens class so that they (and their parents/carers) can be confident that they know what to do in an emergency.

Our teens class is a 2 hour session for just £20 and includes getting help safely in an emergency, assessing our casualty, the recovery position, CPR, using an AED, head injuries, breaks/fractures, burns, bleeding, shock, choking, asthma, fainting, allergies and anaphylaxis. Classes are taking place in person across the county or on Zoom. Alternatively, small groups may prefer to book a private class (min of 4).
