Our blended paediatric first aid course is a 12 hour class comprised of 6 hours e-learning and 6 hours in person training. The course is ideal for early years practitioners working with children aged 0-5 years. The course includes getting help safely in an emergency, roles and responsibilities of a first aider, infection control, first aid kits, assessing our casualties, the recovery position, CPR, choking, drowning, shock, allergies and anaphylaxis, bites and stings, wounds and bleeding, suspected spinal injuries, breaks/fractures, head injuries, common childhood conditions and injuries such as asthma and diabetes, seizures/epilepsy, extremes of temperature, burns, poisoning and accident reporting. Upon successful completion to the class you will be issued with a Paediatric First Aid certificate that is valid for 3 years. An e-learning code will be emailed to you following your booking being received. If you are booking more than 1 place, please include the names and email addresses of those attending in your booking information or email us at email@example.com We will meet in person on Sat 5th March for a 1 day class. Free on street parking is available at this venue. There is also a small free car park on site. E-learning codes will be released from - if you book 11th December prior to this you will receive your code from this date. This is to ensure that your e-learning remains in date for the in person class. Unfortunately we have a no refund policy.
